Physician Assistant (PA) – Family Medicine
Location: 633rd Medical Group (MDG), Langley Air Force Base – Hampton, VA

MDPerm is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant (PA) in Family Medicine to support the 633rd Medical Group at Langley AFB. This is a mission-essential personal services contract that provides direct patient care in a military treatment facility (MTF) environment.

Overview
The Physician Assistant provides comprehensive primary care services in a Family Health setting, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to active duty service members and beneficiaries. This role operates within a collaborative, multidisciplinary military healthcare team and supports readiness and clinical operations.

Duties / Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care services including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
Perform patient histories, physical exams, and develop treatment plans
Manage patient panels within a Family Medicine clinic setting
Document all patient encounters in MHS GENESIS or other military EMR systems
Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and lab results
Provide preventive care, health maintenance, and patient education
Respond to urgent/emergent situations and stabilize patients as needed
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate care
Participate in quality improvement, peer review, and performance improvement initiatives
Maintain productivity comparable to other providers in similar roles

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (ARC-PA)
Current, unrestricted PA license in any U.S. state
Board-certified by NCCPA
Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in Family Medicine or Primary Care preferred
Current BLS certification required
ACLS required (or must obtain within 3 months of start)

Schedule & Work Hours

Full-Time
Monday–Friday, 40 hrs per week
