Overview
Dunham U.S. Army Health Clinic at Carlisle Barracks provides comprehensive outpatient medical and behavioral health services in support of active-duty service members and mission readiness.
We are seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LISW/LICSW) to deliver evidence-based behavioral health services to active-duty service members on base. This is an on-site civilian position within a structured military clinical environment.

Full-Time | On-Site
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
No weekends
No on-call requirement
Clinical Focus & Therapeutic Modalities
The LCSW will provide outpatient behavioral health services utilizing evidence-based and trauma-informed treatment approaches. Examples of approved modalities are CBT, DBT, PE, CPT, EMDR, ACT, Supportive Therapy, and Mindfulness-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct crisis intervention, risk and safety assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning
Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy
Develop written treatment plans with measurable goals, interventions, and timelines
Deliver ongoing therapeutic interventions and prepare discharge summaries
Coordinate care with multidisciplinary clinical teams and initiate emergency interventions when required
Participate in peer review, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives
Document all patient encounters in CHCS / AHLTA within 72 hours
Recognize and report patient safety concerns, equipment issues, and potential hazards
Complete all required clinical documentation, reports, and forms accurately and timely
Requirements
Education
Master of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited school of social work
Licensure
Current, unrestricted, independent LCSW, LISW, or LICSW license
License may be held in any U.S. state
Experience
Minimum five (5) years post-master’s clinical counseling experience with individuals, families, and adults
Two (2) years may be accepted if experience was obtained in a military setting or with military populations
Additional Requirements
Ability to work independently on routine assignments without direct supervision
Adherence to clinic SOPs, MEDCOM directives, and privacy regulations governing medical records
Active participation in staff meetings, in-service training, and utilization review processes
Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
U.S. citizenship required
